COMMUNITY POLICING
 By
decree of His Majesty the king, the public
service police (community police) have
been modernized. The understanding of
this police force as followed in advanced
countries for the sake of advancing job
of police and to reduce the crimes and
to enhance the public trust of the public
and cooperation between police and society
for creating a peaceful society.
His Excellency, the minister of the Interior
Shaikh Rashid Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa order the
following for the creation of a police force
to help the society and by employing 500 staff
of policemen for male and female from al the
areas to help the environment that they represent
and where they were born.

Specialties of police
office in serving various areas are:
Patrol Offices
They are responsible of movement of patrols
on foot and mobile and working out patrolling
areas depending on the intensity or volume
of crime in different areas.
Office of Inspection and Security
Shops, Workshops, factories, Establishment
with different trading practices: It includes
talking to owners of these safety regulations,
security issues and offering security
services that will help prevention of
crime or accidents in their respective
establishment through the following

When
our patrol police finds any security
shortcomings in any trading or establishment
place, we shall send a form to setup
our security services to the person
incharge of the place and ask them
to contact us through the contacts
mentioned to make an appointment
to visit their place. |

After visiting
the establishment we shall send
our suggestions for security recommendation |
|
We will follow
up with owners of these establishments
to make sure that all safety and
security measures are adhered to. |

sets up statistics operations and
solutions for all the cases that
are brought to its attention from
its specialized areas. |

Providing the
inspection office with information
so that the office can find the
reasons for the crime and finding
solutions for it. |
Office of awareness and security
guidance

Specializes
in providing leaflets and publication
regarding security and its distribution
in different areas. |

Giving lectures
and participating in meetings and
activity setup in the area. |

Setting up continuous training
programs for the community police
in the areas regarding security
and educational points to reduce
crime and fear of crime and to
create a more peaceful society
